Apple iPad changed a life of a 99-year-old

In a report of The Oregonian, a 99-year-old woman Virginia Campbell of Lake Oswego, who suffers from Glaucoma (eye disease) stars in a viral YouTube video telling the story how Apple’s latest creation “changed” Virginia’s life.

“It’s changed her life,” said Ginny Adelsheim, one of her daughters in an interview. Now she’s reading books on the iPad and writing limericks on it as well. Her medical suffering makes for him difficult to do her favorite pastimes, which is normal for a bachelor’s in English literature -- reading and writing.

Apparently, the 99-year-old Campbell has never owned a Kindle or computer before to write or read an e-book. But after all the hype the iPad goes from rumors to launch she wanted one. The made Corinna Campbell-Sack and her husband joined the line on the first day to buy an iPad.

“The thing that’s so neat is there’s nothing between you and the screen,” Adelsheim said. “You can enlarge the print, and it has a much brighter screen so you can read on it more easily than with a regular computer screen.”

Campbell also wrote a limerick tribute appreciation of the Apple iPad.

To this technology-ninny it’s clear
In my compromised 100th year,
That to read and to write
Are again within sight
Of this Apple iPad pioneer.

The YouTube video now as we speak 88,090 views.
